MOCK TRIAL
Open to New & Experienced Debaters

This course will be primarily focused on teaching students public speaking skills and debate through trial advocacy. Students will become familiar with witness questioning techniques and defense and plaintiff arguments. The class will employ a variety of strategies including research, discussion, and simulation. In this course the students will be learning the setup and process mock trial. They will practice preparing for a formal mock trial competition by working in teams, writing out their arguments, and practicing delivering their arguments in a competitive setting.
